Once again the time has come, Shakers fans! After another thrilling month of football, we’ve seen passion, skill, and determination from our squad. Now, it’s your chance to decide who stood out the most in a sea of incredible performances.
The month started with a 2-0 win at Gigg Lane vs Pilkington, followed by a tough point against FC St Helens. We then headed for our first of two trips to Merseyside, with a 2-0 win at AFC Liverpool, which was one of our three clean sheets of the month.
Our third home game in 10 days, saw another midweek draw against Charnock Richard before an amazing 8-0 win against Longridge Town.
Seven goals in two games ended the month with away trips to Lower Breck, our first defeat of the season, they won 4-3, in what ended in a tight affair.
Saturday gave us the final game of the month, a 4-2 win against Burscough, which gave Bryan Ly his first goals since October.
