We are delighted to update you on the progress of the Gigg Lane Memorial Garden in conjunction with FGRS and Bury Council.
Our stadium volunteers have been hard at work and the project is expected to be completed in the new year, with FRGS overseeing a planting project and sensory space as part of their family workshops. The wonderful ‘Men in Sheds’ are also making us a bespoke bench for the area.
The Memorial Garden will be a place to sit and reflect and once completed, fans will have the opportunity to purchase plaques at the garden to memorialise loved ones.
We are also planning an official opening event, with details to follow in due course.
