We are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Rustam Stepans from Charnock Richard.
The winger impressed Shakers fans last season in his many appearances against us.
Born in Latvia he started out his UK football journey in the youth ranks of Chorley, Southport & Marine. Before joining Runcorn Linnets in 2020.
He joined Charnock Richard last summer after spending 2022/23 season at Atherton LR.
Rustam scored 24 goals in 59 appearances last term, including five from the penalty spot.
The gaffer Dave McNabb is delighted to have him on board.
“Rusty is another player who really excelled last season. Particularly against us where he caused us lots of problems in all four encounters.
He’s quick, direct and has a wand of a left foot. Loves to take people on and will have the fans on the edge of their seat. Rusty scored 24 goals last season and showed himself as a stand out player at this level with huge potential to climb the leagues.”
