As our update last week, we are to play our next two home games behind closed doors. Supporters will not be allowed into Gigg Lane for the following two fixtures:
- Barnoldswick Town – Tues 12th March, 7.45pm KO
- Charnock Richard – Sat 16th March, 12.30pm KO*
We are grateful to Charnock Richard and the league who have agreed to bring forward the kick-off time next Saturday to 12.30pm. This is to allow the game to be broadcast via live stream and not coincide with the ‘blocked hours’ ruling, which prevents viewing within the UK of 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday afternoon. More on this further down the page.
Who is allowed inside Gigg Lane?
The ground will be NOT be open to supporters under ANY circumstances, and controls will be set up to prevent all but those allowed to enter the ground on each match day.
This will include all players, staff and officials for each club alongside working volunteers who carry out necessary roles in ensuring the game can function as normal. This information will be gathered in the lead up to the games.
There will be representatives from both clubs allowed inside the stadium to carry out their roles across club administration, ground staff, team and kit staff, press representatives and club media officials alongside photographers and camera operatives. The car park will be closed to everyone else.
Anyone attempting to gain access into the ground or trying to gain a vantage point to view the game from outside, risks further punishment directed towards the club.
Stadium bans will be issued to anyone contravening this requirement.
Circumstances of this nature will be managed by security operatives who will be assisting on the entrance to the car park, as well as around the ground.
Programmes
A programme will be available to purchase for pick-up at Gigg Lane after the completion of these fixtures. These will be £3 each and available to buy only online. Head to buryfc.co.uk/tickets to buy yours.
Access to the Live Stream Broadcast
A live stream of both games will be available, as normal. This will be free to season ticket holders, and a pay-per-view option for all other supporters. The pay-per-view access will be provided to all, with season ticket access provided to the ticket holders email address.
[UPDATE] The pay-per-view link to access the stream for Saturday’s game can now be accessed below:

Donations to the Club
Supporters have asked about options to make financial contributions back to the club. We are working on providing an online payment mechanism and more details on this will follow.
