As we head towards the end of 2023, NYCDA have taken the time to get out and about to visit recent Treasureline supporting winners, and find out more about them and their connection to Bury Football Club, as well as to celebrate their success.

First up is the story of Judith Newton and her Bury mad family, who won the main prize of £1,000 earlier this year.
Talking further with Judith and her husband David (pictured left), it became apparent that David is the super fan, but lots of their memories stretch as far back as the 1960s.
The pair have supported the club through its lottery for many years through their agent Karen, and they were keen to hear more about the youth player development programmes, which their membership supports.
As we delved deeper, early memories stretch as far back to the 1962/63 season with a hard fought one nil win versus Luton being the first game David remembers at Gigg Lane. Favourite players have gone on to include Colin Bell and Bobby Owen, who David went on to work with later on in life.
Judith has fond memories of away trips to places like Leyton Orient, and the family holidays that were enjoyed around playing Torquay away. Indeed, the family are big caravanners and the cash will be used for some special breaks alongside big birthdays this year.

As outlined last week, right now, you to could be like Judith and be in with a chance of some smashing prizes in the process.
We are running a special prize draw incentive this week. Joining by midnight on Sunday 10th December. All fans who sign up to support the club in this way can enter the prize draw by clicking on the image and inserting ‘BURYFCXMAS’ as the promo code when joining!
