Club Statement: Ian Harrop

Table of Contents

Representatives of the club met with Ian Harrop on 15 February 2025 to discuss Ian’s ban from the hospitality areas of the stadium. In the interest of moving forward in a positive manner Ian was informed that he is now welcome to return to the hospitality areas of the stadium with immediate effect.

During the meeting Ian expressed concern about comments made regarding him on the usual social media platforms. As a club we do not condone the abuse of any individual, be that a board member, employee, volunteer or supporter.

The decision to impose the ban was not made pursuant to the club’s official sanction policy as the circumstances giving rise to it were outside the scope of the policy. As such, it has no impact on any stadium ban which has been imposed pursuant to the sanction policy, all of which remain in place on the terms notified to the individuals concerned.

The club and Ian have resolved the matter amicably and now regard it as closed.
