Club Statement – Discriminatory Language

Table of Contents

We have received various reports over the last few weeks of discriminatory language used at our Men’s first-team matches.

Our message is simple. Discriminatory language has no place in our club.

Our Safeguarding & Welfare Officer, Tania Jackson said: “Football is for everyone. Discriminatory language has no place in our club. If you hear it please report it.

“Let’s create a respectful, inclusive environment where everybody feels welcome.”

If you wish to contact Tania about discriminatory language or another safeguarding/welfare issue, please email safeguarding@buryfc.co.uk.
