We are delighted to announce the signing of full-back Connor Pye.

The 20-year-old was released by Sunderland this summer and joins Dave McNabb’s side.

He started out at Morecambe before moving to the North East in August 2022.

Connor then spent a spell on loan at Northern Premier League team Morpeth Town.

We caught up with Dave McNabb who had the following to say about his new signing:

“Connor is a very exciting player who is capable of covering multiple positions including left back and both wings amongst others. Technically excellent having come through the academy set up at Morecambe before being bought by Sunderland for an undisclosed fee in 2022.

He has really impressed since coming in especially considering he is returning from a long lay off for a stress fracture in his back. I have no doubts that Connor will be a player who leaves us for full time football given time to develop and grow in the men’s game”

Welcome to Bury, Connor.
